Vancouver Family Photographer | Sweet Kaelyn is One!

Who here has experienced big milestones in their lives all at once? I know I have! Sometimes they just turn out that way, as is the case with this family. Philis contacted me months ago about a family session but as we are sorting out dates, they purchased a new home and finally decided on a time that would be include both their new home and their baby girl, Kaelyn, turning one!

Turning one is such a big deal, especially for the first born. We threw a big bash for Elliotte, and invited lots of friends and their kids, and it's really all for us to mark the survival of what is likely one of the steepest learning curves we've been on. Kidding! Sort of.

Philis and Braden threw a big bash for Kaelyn too. And this photo session is the icing on top to celebrate her being ONE. Her departure from infancy and foray into toddlerhood. Although with the time I spent with her at their beautiful new home, it seems like there is plenty of baby left in this little michelin.She certainly keeps her parents busy with her buzzing of activity around their new home, which has loads more space for her to explore. Chubby thighs crawling up and down stairs, four teeth cutting that still gummy smile; there are still a few milestones left to check off the baby to toddlerhood list, thank goodness! Kaelyn already has an incredible ability to laugh, groove, and love for someone so little. When she hugs her parents, she hugs with her whole body, arms and legs wrapped completely around them. When she dances, her head and bum shake to the beat. When she laughs, it's a bellyful.
